THE PICTURE

It was a pleasant summer day in the foothills of Island Park, where a group of high school students were having a nice gracious retreat. They weren’t just any high school student’s, they were the head mob of the school, the student government. Now this was a group essentially of smart kids apart from two chancy individuals who would do, for the most part, anything they were told. Their names were Tyler and Alisha.
The students were camped out in one of their peers’ family cabin. It was a very spacious cabin with many big windows. There were many big trees around the cabin and a large stream in the back yard. The students seemed very careless out enjoying the stream. It was deep enough for them to float down in canoes, and also had the shallow areas where they could just simply relax. Now this is what most of the students were doing while Alisha and Tyler were out exploring nature around the area. They presumed they wouldn’t see much around the cabin due to the noise and humans around. They didn’t mind though, they were just out adventuring, trying to find stuff that could outdo others fun.
They get back to the cabin, Alisha eating some peanuts she had brought with her, and Tyler drinking a soda. While walking to the backyard they notice everyone is out of the water and somewhat standing nearer to the house. Immediately realizing something overwhelming has to be going on Tyler asked the advisor, Jason, what was happening. Jason pointed out the cow moose and two younger moose’s standing across the stream in marshy area, daring Alisha and Tyler to take their picture by them.
Always ready for a dare, Alisha set her peanuts down along side Tyler’s soda on the embankment of the stream. They were on their way across the stream and getting to the marshy vicinity. They achieved at getting around 20 feet to the moose’s. Looking back noticing everyone had entered the cabin and all their eyes were staring out many of the numerous windows. Alisha then claimed they were not yet close enough. Onward they trudged through the guck. They were as close as they had the courage for, being only approximately ten feet from the moose’s. As Tyler snapped the picture, that snapped the moose! The momma moose looked up freaked out and bound toward them. With not much room to spare they ran like a bat out of hell. Alisha lost her flips flops in the guck of the marsh as she got to into the stream she had stepped right onto a small fish which caused her to slip and fall. This could have easily caused her to drown if Tyler hadn’t been there.
Losing the camera in the creek with all their adrenaline rushing, they looked up to notice a somewhat large squirrel stealing Alisha’s peanuts. Tyler yelled at the squirrel to leave. The squirrel did exactly as told, leaving with the nuts and all, turning to run away he whacked Tyler’s soda right over with his big bushy tail.
With a few scrapes and bruises and losing the bag of nuts, Tyler’s soda, and the nice camera they were still alive! With no picture to prove what they had done, the two students were just happy they had a whole group of people observe them do their victorious stunt! As soon as they looked up to assume a whole crowd be cheering from them, their was no one even there. Apparently a bird flew through an opened window smacking another student right in the side of the face, causing all eyes to draw on her. The story of the killer moose was a total let down. No one believed it.
Now was this a huge set up from all the animals. To obviously humiliate the mankind and make them sound like fools while telling conquering stories. With the moose being the attraction. The animals clearly had three different plans, plan A, B, and C. They are lucky they did too, because humans are outsmarting them and that’s what makes them so upset. The animals Plan “A” being to have the moose attract the human and scare them causing them to slip on the suicide fish, lose the camera and drown. Plan “B” being if the humans don’t drown, having the suicide bird smash into a spectator sending attention elsewhere. Both of these plans are just to harm and embarrass mankind. Now the story of the picture will never live on. Now plan “C” was were the squirrel came in. They made sure that either way if Alisha and Tyler had lived or drowned they would still be upset about the squirrel stealing her nuts and tipping their soda.
If this is not enough information to make you change your mind, it has to be because the animals have already taken your soul in someway. You need some therapy.

ANIMALS!

I believe that Tim Bedore is a bit wacko when it comes to this animal conspiracy stuff. Although reading his stories are very entertaining and do ravel my mind! Thinking of all of it is so true, squirrels are crazy and will try anything, especially to make you lose your mind! They are always looking at you but run away when you get close, they always seem to be spying! Fish are also crazy, making you go underwater to explore them, its actually so they can explore you more. But i guess if you really think about all this stuff you can change up so many stories to make them sound all sorts of crazy. Just taking a walk down the road to Grandma's house I'm sure you could make up a freaky story about the old man neighbor who always seems to be watching your every move out his front window. Our human minds definitely trick us and make us disbelieve a whole lot of things. We seem to always think the worst rather than the best. But who knows what those darn animals are thinking. Maybe they ARE trying to take over the world!

This class was the only English class that I think actually helped me out and taught me more about writing papers. Most English classes are all about words and punctuation. Sure that's nice to know, but we have to know how to write a good paper also. What helped me the most had to be the individual help we got from Price. Also the comments on the papers helped a ton. It made me go back through my paper and actually read it and look at all the mistakes. Instead of a high school version where it just lets me know what I did good. Price actually helped me out a lot more by telling me what was wrong in the paper! The class was very good all together, it taught me a lot about college papers that I will definitely need to know for future classes.

Truth Ad

I have Chosen to write on the roll of toilet papers. What makes you want to smoke? Why choose toilet paper over a toilet or toilet cleaner? What makes people quit? How does this add affect people? Well first of all what makes you want to smoke? I have heard many reasons such as stress, because its cool, because it makes them calm down. Now I wouldn't know for sure since I have never done so. Those are just reasons I have heard. Why choose the toilet paper? I guess its more of just the setting its in, looks like a public restroom, which everyone knows are always gross and nasty! How does this add affect people? Well that's probably about the same reason as the last question. Although I don't personally believe that just seeing a roll of toilet paper will make people just up and quit smoking. It just kind of shows the facts that yeah a toilets grime gets cleaned off by stuff in cigarettes. What makes people quit? There are things such as nicotine and gums. Also there are doctor treatments, or psychiatrists.

Dave and Penny

Dave and Penny are not main characters in the movie "Stranger than Fiction" but they do seem to play some pretty big roles. Dave plays the part of Harold's best friend, they know each other through work. Harold talks to Dave about most everything and can talk to him just like most best friends in the real world do. They hang out at work and outside of work. Penny is the "help" brought in for Karen. She is suppose to help her find a good ending to her book. You always seem to see her and Karen together, outside, inside, rain, and shine. They treat each other as if they really don't seem to care for each other when you know they really do. Both Penny and Dave help their friends out, Karen and Harold. They both have there goods and bads just like any other character, we just don't get to intact about their lives.

Stranger Than Fiction

Of course I have seen this movie before because my most favorite actor plays the main role, Will Ferrell! I really enjoy this movie although it isnt a normal Will Ferrell movie thats for sure, but it still has just enough comedy to make it okay for him to be in. Now that we have our paper to help us evaluate the film, I have been looking deeper into it. Such as angles of the camera, the background music, and much more. It is wierd how many new things you notice just watching the same film over again. You have more time to look into things rather than just listening to the voices and what the people do. I honestly never watch a movie and try determining the main conflict or the setting, let alone do I pay attention to the special effects! I just watch it because it is hopefully entertaining to me! Now that we are writing this I have been deeper into the movie and its really interested to me! I am excited to finish this movie up again!

#5 pg 293

I think there are way too many good movies out there to just choose one! But of course like it says choose your gut instincts and I automatically thought of three different movies. The first one was She's the Man. I chose that one just because it has a lot relating to me, how I love soccer and I would do anything to play it! Also Amanda Bynes is a very good actress. Then the second movie is Napoleon Dynamite. This movie was just a one of a kind. There is nothing that can beat the stupidness and dumbness of it! It is such an Idaho movie! The third movie is one of my all time favorites, Home Alone. The first one, not the second or third of fourth or fifth, or however many of them there are! The first one is by far the best! Kevin was such a hero to kids all over. What kid wouldn't like to do that to a couple strangers! The movie was well thought out and had a good plot to the story. they pieced it all together well and came together with a good closing.

pg 277 #2

I believe the public has become desensitized to war images and violence due to all of the media (video games, t.v., and etc.). I think that all of the images are getting more and more violent and are getting us more desensitized to what is really going on in the world. The more the media gets involved the more the images are shown and seen by the people of the world and even the young kids are getting more involved in seeing the violent images that are shown on the t.v. and many other media. I do not believe that if the media was to be restricted that we would gain in sensitivity because the media has already desensitized us so much and has already started on the young kids. We can never be sensitive about anything in this world anymore because we have dug ourselves way to far in a hole that we cant get ourselves out off. It seems like if you were to say you cant see something you would want to see it more and more!

I have visited a tourist resort, and that is Disneyland! I have been there two times in my life. It really is a very happy place to be and I seriously absolutely love it! The pictures show you how magical and happy it is! The show all the rides, and the fun times that are had there! But they never show the long lines, the sweaty people, the dirtiness and the crowds.
All in all though I believe they show it like it is in the pictures. The colorful places, the happy faces! It is so fun there and they show that in the picture. Like I said earlier though, they never show long lines in their commercials or there pictures. They also never show how crowded it can be at times and how you better be watching close out for your kids!

Observation

I hope it is okay for me to change this up a little, it is still about an observation from different distances away, but I didn't just do it. It happened when I was a little bit younger and I was heading home from Idaho Falls on a windy, but warm summer day. We got a phone call that our house was on fire, at first my mom just let it kind of fly by her because my grandma is a bit of an exaggerator, then after having like 6 other people told her she started to freak out.

So here we are heading home from Idaho Falls, I'm trying to imagine all the things that the house could look like, having no idea. We got off the Rose exit, heading towards Groveland road. We get down it a few miles getting closer and closer to our house. As we get closer I can see cars parked all around the front of my house. I remember just looking and seeing everyone else's houses all nice and calm, besides the wind that was blowing. We passed the Lilya's red and brown house with a beautiful landscaped yard, then the Wackenhuts, having a large pasture with 2 horses standing right at the edge of the fence and 2 running down the field. Me noticing the smoke that is coming from somewhere near my house. I start seeing all the bright green trees in my yard, and all the shrubs up front that we planted just summers before. Then we passed the Parkinsons house, just two houses away from mine. I'm starting to notice more things, such as all the different cars in my driveway. Two big bright red firetrucks in my driveway, one parked up front, and another on the side of my house. A total of four bright red firetrucks and one ambulance. There was also 4 other trucks and 4 cars from people stopping by. Our camper was parked right out front next to one of the fire trucks. It had been moved. It was like 4 feet from the garage before, but I'm guessing they moved it to keep it safe. As we pull up, after looking past all the fire trucks, I noticed all the people and supporters around helping with hoses, trash bags, and hugs! Also noticing behind all of this that half our house has definitely burnt down. I couldn't quite tell what it all was all i could see was a black blur about 20 feet away and I was just smelling and tasting that nasty smoke. As I started walking closer I noticed things such as the big screen, all sorts of clothes, soccer balls, bikes, dressers, and a whole lot more. All burnt to a crisp! And it smelt horrible. Like a smell i can't even explain. Burnt smoky clothes that are all wet, that's as good as I can explain it!

It was a horrible thing to observe for me, but this was the first thing that came to mind when I read the journal. Because it happened just like that. I was noticing everything, from as far back as I could possibly see anything about my house. It was step by step just like that, it is something I will probably always remember very clearly.

1 HOUR

I have been at work since 10 this morning and won't be off until 3. I work in the Pine Ridge Mall at Sunglass Hut. Standing here in my little kiosk all I pretty much ever think about is food. That is because I work right be the Courtyard, which is the food court at the mall. So I sit and usually stare at subway until I think it is lunchtime and time to eat! Standing here, not sitting, because we don't get a chair! But standing here I can see many stores, the ones closest to me being American Eagle, Buckle, and Claires. And the ones most important to me being, Subway, Mrs. Powells, Orange Julius, and Marios Pizza! All day when I am working, besides selling sunglasses of course, I pretty much just stand here and smell food! I can smell things such as bread, cookies, cinnamon rolls, and occasionally a whiff of pizza comes around! It is a Saturday morning so the mall is pretty busy. Theres all sorts of things to see and hear. Of course I am seeing many people, most seem to be married, or in couples at least. Others are just usually with groups of friends. I don't seem to see many traveling the mall alone! I hear all the talking from people about where they are heading next, or why Bobby hit Suzie yesterday. There is alot of mall walkers, which are people that just come to the mall and walk and don't even intend to go there and buy anything. So I catch there conversations a little bit more since i see them like 50 times a morning! Sharon must be this ladies name that keeps walking by with her older lady friend, how I know that is because the front right of her shirt says "Sharon" and the back says "Retired and still kickin!" I'm seeing all kinds of different strollers, blue ones, pink ones, gray ones, etc. I hear bags knocking into each other and making that whisping noise. I've heard a few stroller wheels squeaking from the heavy babies or harsh treatment to the stroller I assume! Theres a buzzer going off right now, I believe its probably at subway telling them their bread is done, but I'm not quite sure, it could possible be at Mrs. Powells. I see people in footlocker trying on many different shoes, going through there sales and laughing and giggling. Chase, a kid who works in footlocker just looked out and waved. Looking over towards American Eagle I always notice those manicans first. I also just noticed one of the manicans has something different about it. Oh, I know, it has a necklace on it now, that wasn't there before. Oh wow, there goes that silly retired Sharon again! Now looking towards Claires, I just see a bunch of young girls and two "moms" I would think. I can't really tell how many girls are in there, but I can tell you I don't see any boys! Wait I take that back, two teenager boys just walked in, I would assume for a girlfriend, or maybe they have earrings they need. People have come and gone looking at sunglasses as I have been observing. I have had one sell since I started this. He was very sure on what he wanted, an middle aged man, probably in his 40's, with dark hair, probably about average height, he took me straight to the glasses and was sure they were the ones he wanted! I have just walked around the kiosk, making sure the glasses are all set up nicely still, and checking for fingerprints on the glasses and the glass kiosk itself. I noticed a few finger prints down lower on the glass, I figure they are from little kids. I go back in and get the Windex to clean it off, streak free too! Then i clean off some glasses that I noticed were a bit dirty, only four pairs. Two Ray Bans, and Oakley and a D&G pair. As i put the Oakley pair back I actually noticed Sharon again! So, that is an hour at work with Alisha!

"Changes"

“I see no changes wake up in the morning and I ask myself is life worth living should I blast myself?” Does this sound like something you think about every morning when you wake up? My guess would be that you probably don’t ever think this! According to Tupac Amaru Shakur, this is what he thought every morning getting out of bed. Tupac is a famous rapper, song writer, and actor who was very famous, most people knew him for his rapping skills. One of his number one hits was a single that he wrote about his life growing up, which is called “Changes”.
Usually when listening to a song you can catch me singing along. Who doesn’t like to sing along to a song with a good beat? But have you ever thought about the song itself and looked deeper into its lyrics? Everyone should start listening to the song along with the beat; it will make you change your perception on a lot of music. It is amazing what you can discover about an artist and his past just by listening closer to their music.
“Changes”, a song by Tupac, addresses many issues, such as racism, drugs, gangs, and police brutality. All these are topics to which Tupac had to grow up dealing with. Tupac was born on June 16, 1971. He grew up when a lot was happening with racism within America. Martin Luther King, Jr had been assassinated only 2-3 years earlier because of his “I have a dream” speech. Tupac seemed to have a very hard life growing up, being surrounded by violence, but somewhere around age 12, he found himself at the Baltimore School for the Arts. Here is where he studied acting, poetry, and jazz.
“But some things will never change, try to show another way but you stayin’ in the dope game…” When Tupac was 17, Afeni, his mother, got addicted to crack. As in his song it says people were addicted to drugs and would try changing their ways without removing the drugs from their lives. Since his mother was one of those people who “stayed in the dope game”, he didn’t want to deal with it. This led Tupac to find a new home with his friend Ray Luv, and Ray’s mother Leila Steinberg. Tupac was known as being a more well-round student than the average. Liela was very proud of him and for that she decided to organize a concert to help show Tupac’s talents to others. The concert led him to being signed to Digital Underground, a famous record label. His professional entertainment career began to hit off in around 1991, when he debuted his first rap single “Same Song”. Tupac put out a few more CD’s before he died at the age of 25 in a drive by shooting. Having him die is such a harsh way brings me back to his song, with Tupac claiming that he can’t ever just be calm because he has always got to be watching his back for some pay back. “And as long as I stay black I gotta stay strapped and I never get to lay back ‘cause I always got to worry about the pay backs…”. His death could have possibly been some sort of payback from someone or some gang.
“And still I see no changes can’t a brother get a little peace…” Tupac stated that his first album was aimed towards young black males facing problems. It seemed to make it all the worse for him. Such as in one incident a young teen claimed that he killed the Texas trooper because Tupac’s album inspired him to. Maybe the teen took it the wrong way when hearing the lyrics “But tell the cops they can’t touch this, I don’t trust this when they try to rush I bust this…”
“Changes” really is a moving song. It talks a lot about racism and about how Tupac felt growing up being black. “I’m tired of being poor and even worse I’m black...”, “Pull the trigger kill a [black] he’s a hero...”, “One less hungry mouth on the welfare...”. Reading just those three verses of the first part of the song, you can see that when Tupac was growing up no one seemed to care about blacks. He says how it is no fun being poor, especially when your black. Cops would shoot the blacks that they seen on the streets because they figured it to be less money for everyone else to pay for the fact that most black were just people who were on welfare.
“We gotta start making changes learn to see my as a brother instead of two distant strangers...”. Tupac is trying to get everyone to understand we are all human beings it shouldn’t matter what color or gender you are, we are all brothers/sisters. “I see no changes all I see is racist faces, misplaced hate makes disgrace to races...” People of course are always getting out of hand with anger, which they still do, but back 30 years ago when you are growing up as a black person, people would hate you just because of your race. No one noticed anything good a black did. The police were very much racist, so most took all their anger out on a black, even if he/she was minding their own business doing no harm. “The penitentiary’s packed and its filled with blacks..”. Then take them to jail for no apparent reason.
Throughout the lyrics of the song I have stated, many of them are mainly dealing with racism, police brutality, and gangs. There is also one other major thing I would like to point out in his song, and it is the bridge. He states “That’s just the way it is, things will never be the same, that’s just the way it is...” When he says this it makes me realize and understand that this is still going on in a lot of places. He is right, it probably won’t change, their will probably always be those racist people. It can get better though, as it has. Not as much police brutality or as much racism is happening to often anymore. There will always be that little bit of it though, that no one can seem to change. “I wonder what it takes to make this one better place let’s erase the wasted, take the evil out of people they’ll be acting right…”
Tupac is a great rapper and R & B artist. I have always loved to listen to his work. He has made me take a whole new look on how I listen to music. I listen more in depth now, not just to the beat. It makes me enjoy the song so much more and it actually teaches me things I have yet to learn.
“I see no changes wake up in the morning and I ask myself is life worth living should I blast myself?” Now you know what was going through Tupac’s mind when thinking this. I will leave this on a note from Tupac, “It’s time for us as people to start making some changes. Let’s change the way we eat, let’s change the way we live, and let’s change the way we treat each other…” Now are you ready to make some “Changes”?

Beauty Commercial

The first commercial, being a girl who starts out just a normal average girl with her own style. Distracting hair, a little acne, not really skinny, but not fat either; those are the first things i noticed about the lady. Then as time goes by she is gets her hair re-done, eyebrows plucked, and make-up on. This apparently wasn't good enough for the company. They then had to put her picture on the computer and photo shop it; make her neck longer, eyes bigger, smile prettier. Nothing ever seems to be good enough for anyone anymore. All magazine, billboards, posters, etc. always seem to have the skinniest ladies and the best looking men. Yeah that's cool, but what ever happened to the average person. I am sick of seeing a clothes magazine with some beautiful, tall, skinny, tan girl wearing the clothes. Sure I think its cute on her, but how will I know what it looks like on me, an average sized girl, that cant just be photo-shopped into the outfit! People try to hard to be the person in the magazine or on the billboard. It's not just girls either, its guys to. They are starting to harm there bodies to be that one person. No one really takes the time to realize the photo shop that was done. Girls are becoming anorexic, boys are taking steroids. It's not just that though, we can try to stop this. People are harsh now-a-days. Be honest, most peoples first thought if they see a obese person isn't, "Oh wow! I bet they are great on the inside!" It's more like, "Oh wow! Maybe they should lay off the donuts!" Yeah maybe an obese person can fix themselves in a healthy way and go on a healthy diet to change how they look on the outside, but you need to stop and take a minute to get to know the inside. Just like they always say "You can't judge a book by its cover!" We know that we all want to be that amazing looking movie star, but if we were all like that then everyone would look the same! It would be boring! Sure we can go tanning, work out, get plastic surgery, but lets get back to reality people! Just face it, no one is perfect!

Magazines

I am going to do my journal today on number 1 on page 60. It just talks about different types of magazines and why they all attract different people. Such as Cosmo is a magazine for mainly woman, even though sometimes guys just like to read it to catch up on how to be a "good man" or topics like that. Then there is the magazine Maxim is more of a magazine for guy because, well guys always want to look at girls. Then there are magazines such as Sports Illustrated who attracts people that are mainly into sports such as football, baseball, or basketball. Or just the opposite of that would be Home and Garden which attracts people that just want to learn new things about the yard and how to keep it green and beautiful. These magazines can attract people of all different ages and wealth. It just kind of matters what you are into and like to do.

5 key components for essay 1

The five key components of this essay are, of course number one in every essay should be grammar. Two would have to be finding a good artist to do you work on. Three getting facts about the artist to be able to explain/write about him. Now for number four you need to figure out your audience and who will be reading your essay. Then of course going along with number four would be to make sure you can catch your audience attention and that would be number five. I'm not too much of an artsy person so I know I am really going to have to do some research to find an artist who I will enjoy learning about and teaching it back into my essay. I hope I can find the perfect artist who I can easily figure out and have something in common with!

Soccer

I chose to do my journal on number 2 page 57. I then of course I chose to talk about soccer. One of my favorite things in the world! People always know me from soccer it seems like. I will be walking and they will always be like, "Aren't you the one with the cool cleats from Blackfoot?" I know a lot about soccer considering I have played it since I was 5. Then pretty soon I just started to play it year round, spring soccer, summer soccer, fall soccer, and of course indoor soccer! I would love to meet some famous soccer players such as Mia Hamm, David Beckham, or any other really good player, and have them teach me some of their skills. I know that I love soccer but I'm definitely am no pro! When it comes to the pros most of them seem to play it as if it is so easy and it just comes natural. I would love to get that natural look! I want to learn their work outs, that make them so much more fit and what makes them go non-stop. They just keep going and going. They also have nice shots and passes. Like i said before it all just seems to come natural to them. I just think that would be the greatest!

Chrysler 300C

I looked around in my book and chose to do my journal today from page 25 question number 2. It has a picture of a Chrysler 300C and it just shows it a front shot from pretty much the grille. What leads you to mostly notice the grille I think would be how everything in the picture is a dark green color and then the grille is a chrome color and it just sticks out. The car is dark green the background is dark green. There are only a few chrome or other colored things in the picture. The grille just happens to be the biggest and right in the middle! The manufactures might be showing you the grille because it is a new and improved grille that is very fancy. Maybe they could just be showing you the front of the car because it is probably the only thing that has changed about it. I really don't know what the old one looks like but from the front of this car it seems like it would be a really shiny and nice fancy car to be driving around in! Things that lead you to the grille are just how everything like shoves into it. The head lights seem to be just pushing against the grille making your eyes stay right in the middle.

ULRIKSEN PAINTINGS

I have been examining the two paintings of the dogs by Mark Ulriksen. The one titled "Little Dog" is showing that the dog seems to be either happy or tired from running up to the owner. It may be titled "Little Dog" but it sure is an up close shot which makes the dog look bigger. Having it be an up close shot shows more detail in the dogs face and eyes of where he may be looking or how he may feel. It seems that the owner is just laying in the sand on some beach and just called the dog over to play with or pet. Seeing the background of a beach or somewhere like that, the dog could have been running around enjoying the weather and freedom. The one titled "Puppy Love" the dog seems to be upset, because he doesn't want to chase the ball, or just happily waiting for the owner to throw the ball so he can go chase it. The painting is very zoomed out. I am thinking it is so that he can show the ball in the painting and how the dog either wants the ball or doesn't want it, I'm not sure because you cant really see the dogs facial features too well. By the title I would expect that the owner just bought a puppy and is trying to teach him fetch but the dog is just not comprehending. With the red background color it could just be trying to bring out the white ball better or could be that someone isn't really happy.

Soccer Scholarship

I just went and scavenged through my closet and my bedroom to find something that had a big meaning to me. I passed through many things that i have been debating talking about. I passed through things such as my soccer ball, old soccer cleats, soccer pictures, soccer medals and trophies. They all caught my eye, and they all have to deal with soccer. Which is by far one of my favorite things ever! I finally decided what my topic was going to be about. It isn't any of those things i just mentioned though. It is my scholarship for soccer from William Penn University. Now don't get me wrong, Idaho State is great! I was just so excited to get what i had dreamt of my entire life. I started soccer at the age of five, and have been playing it non-stop ever since. In my soccer career throughout my life I was always having fun. Soccer is something I always wanted to pursue. As I got older I realized I could have a lot coming for me in soccer. I would strive harder and harder each practice and game to get better so I could get a scholarship. As time went on I got a phone call from the William Penn ladies soccer coach. Coach Ganson was his name, he asked me some questions and told me some information. Next thing you know he was knocking on my front door! Well I got the scholarship, but there was just a factor with family and moving far away that I couldn't handle. Unfortunately I gave my childhood dream away. My mom just has to keep all the papers and information to remind me of it too! Just knowing that I had the perfect chance to continue doing what I loved best makes me very proud of myself. Even though I gave it up, I am glad to be here with my family!
